Your Thanksgiving To-Do List

Every year, I make a list of what I can get done in the days before Thanksgiving. If you wrote out notes to yourself like we suggested last year, pull that out and add to it. If not, try making notes as you go this year. You’ll thank yourself later!

Here’s my list for what you can get done Tuesday.

1. Make your cranberries.

2. If you’re buying a fresh turkey, pick it up today.

3. Make crust for your pumpkin pies. You can even make the filling and freeze.

4. Make salad dressing.

5. Take out your serving dishes; plates for hors d’oeuvres and cheese plate. Make sure your have serving utensils to go in each one. I put a post-it note in my dishes labeling what goes in which dish so that later, guests can help me at serving time.

6. Iron your linens.

7. Clean your silver.

8. Set table.

9. Set up adult beverage area.

10. Make your place cards.
