A Healthier Cup Of Coffee

I have started trying to eat healthier and have been searching out new recipes. I found this one from Danette May. I don’t drink coffee but I know many of you do. Here is a way you can make your coffee in the morning a little healthier for you. I have also learned that you should only drink organic coffee because they spray more toxins on coffee beans than almost anything else.

Find Out Why Turmeric is Good for You

Size: 1-2

Ingredients:
2 cups of coffee and it should be organic
1 tsp coconut oil
1/4 tsp turmeric
1/4 tsp raw cacao
1/2 tsp collagen powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp lucuma powder
1/4 tsp mesquite powder
1 tsp coconut sugar optional

Directions:

Brew coffee and pour in blender. Add coconut oil, turmeric and all other ingredients. You can leave out what you like or don’t like. Everything should be organic. I found everything but mesquite powder at Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods. You can also make a large batch of all the spices and powders and then just add 2 tsp of the mix to your coffee in the blender.
