Star Gazing in Bergen County

Star light, star bright…I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish I wish tonight. Over at the Emil Buehler Trust Observatory on the Bergen Community College campus, wishing upon stars is happily encouraged. On Friday nights, the Observatory is open to the public free of charge. In March and April, hours are 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. In May and through the summer months, hours are 9:00 p.m. to midnight. Please note, the Observatory does close for holidays and if there is a forecast for rain. Notice of such a cancellation will usually be posted by 4 p.m. on the Observatory web site – www.bergen.edu/buehler or call 201-447-7100. The College is located at 400 Paramus Road in Paramus. I’ve got this on the top of our family “to-do” list!
