Cleveland International Film Festival is Here!

This year, the 42nd Annual Cleveland International Film Festival will feature almost 500 movies: 214 feature films and 253 shorts from 72 countries! The films cover everything from heavy subjects like rape in “100 Women I Know” and “In Syria” a film about the war-torn capital of Syria to cute, heartwarming films like “Pick of the Litter,a film about training puppies to being seeing eye dogs. Some of the screenwriters are as young as 5 like screenwriters Lindalee Rose, 9 years old, and Juliet Brooke, 5 years old who got some help from comedian Kelly Vrooman making the adorably funny “Beauty & the Beast: According to Kids.”

Most movies will be shown at Tower City Cinemas but several movies will be shown at the Cedar Lee on the evenings of Tuesday, April 10 and Thursday, April 12. Tickets start are $14 for members and $16 for non-members. You may also purchase tickets by phone (877.304.3456) or in-person at the Film Festival Box Office, located in the lobby of Tower City Cinemas.
