20 Things That Start with C…Besides Covid 19!

There must be something else we can talk about. What did we talk about before COVID-19? I know it is a big deal. I realize it is affecting the economy and our schedules, and for about 1300 Americans, their health. More people will get sick, that’s how viruses work. The fact that Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson are sick with coronavirus does not mean this is any more serious than it was before their tweet. The obsession with knowing every detail, hyperbolized, fabricated or fact, is going to make us all crazy. Here are 20 things to talk about other than the coronavirus that start with “C”.

1. Cauliflower — Here’s a great, healthy recipe for cauliflower rice.

2. Colin Quinn — Laughter is good medicine!

3. Cardiology — It’s not February but we can still talk about heart health. Find out if you’re at risk for a heart attack.

4. Climate Change — Really never thought this topic would be a better option.

5. Cocktails — Too easy. Try one of our 35 favorite cocktails.

6. Communication — And, how we need to do a better job of it face to face

7. Consensual Sex — That should take your mind off things

8. Celery — As in, yes, I will have a stalk in my Bloody Mary, thank you

9. Cartagena — And, all the other places on my bucket list for vacation spots.

10. Clovers — What did you make for St. Patrick’s Day? Here’s what we made.

11. Capitals — I bet you don’t know all 50.

12. Cows — For or against?

13. Come As You Are — Great song.

14. Counter tipping — What do you think?

15. Consubstantial  — If you are Catholic, you’ll know what I mean.

16. Culture of loneliness — loneliness is as damaging to our health as smoking.

17. Cute baby animals — just google it, and sit back and smile.

18. Chakras — open your mind and learn the 7 chakras of the body.

19. Cake and cookies — just, yum. Check out our Molten Chocolate Cake.

20. Christmas — 288 shopping days left.

Allow me one more. Conversation — there just has to be more we can talk about. Save yourself. Reduce stress. Don’t spread panic. Stay busy. Stay informed, but don’t over consume information. And, if you do, make sure your sources are legitimate. Oh wait, two more. Chardonnay, Cabernet … the list goes on.
