Wine & Whiskey (or both) at re:bar

rebarLooking for a spot to celebrate–yes, CELEBRATE–our first game victory? Head to re:bar just around the corner from the stadium for a whiskey or wine…or both. The bar quietly opened a few months ago on East 9th and it’s definitely not your average, post-game sports bar.  I immediately loved the feel of the place: warm lighting and high ceilings with big industrial drums above a sleek bar. And love my seating options. Depending on whom I’m with, I can grab a seat at the bar, slouch into a cushy leather arm chairs by the window or sit with my date on the side wall tables for two. And of course, there’s great music, not surprising since one of the owners, Rick Blaszak, is in the cover band, The Awesomes. Despite the cool vibe, there’s nothing pretentious about the place. Owners Blaszak, Scott Shelfer and Paul Passarelli, have created a space that makes you want to kick back and stay awhile. This could be my new favorite spot downtown. Definitely drop by and check it out.rebar cleveland
