If you’re feeling that your backyard is less than ready for celebration, here are some tips to give it a boost without breaking the bank:

MULCH

Mulch is a useful addition to any garden or yard. Organic and inorganic mulch helps to moderate soil temperatures and weather damage, and prevent weed growth. Once established, they generally require less water than annuals  and have fewer pest issues, as well. Perennial gardens may serve as borders along a fence or property line, which in turn eases mowing, trimming and watering requirements that a lawn demands. Perennials are available in a wide variety of colors, which can allow you to accommodate a certain color scheme or theme you may want for a specific event.

Perhaps, your shrubs can take on a new shape altogether.
