A Golden Pass for Seniors in Westfield

One of the things I love about Westfield is the way it feels like a tight-knit, inclusive community. The Golden Pass program is a great example of that spirit. The Westfield Public School District is once again giving senior citizens free passes for Westfield High School events through their “Golden Pass” program.  The pass provides free admission to events that normally collect entrance fees like the high school’s musicals, plays and concerts.  The pass will also be accepted at Westfield High School athletic events with the exception of those organized by the county and NJSIAA.

Westfield residents 65 years and older can obtain the Golden Pass, about the size of a credit card, in the Business Office of the Westfield Board of Education, located on the first floor of 302 Elm Street.   A list of popular scheduled events in the school calendar also will be provided. “We welcome our senior citizens and thank them for their years of support,” stated Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Margaret Dolan.  For more information on the program, please call 908-789-4414 or 908-789-4463.
