Tips for Seeing the Lion King with Kids

My advice: get the best tickets you can afford for the Lion King.

See Reviews of Shows Before You Choose

I’ve seen the Lion King twice now. The first time, I spent about $150 a ticket and sat in the rear orchestra. While I totally enjoyed the show and the music, it was disappointing to be so far back. Although the puppets and characters make their way around the theatre during parts of the show, we were too far to really see and appreciate the intricate details of the puppetry and costumes.

So, the second time I went, which was with my kids, we sat in the 4th row. They loved it and we felt like we were a part of the show.
