For Kids That Are Fascinated by the Hurricane Florence…

It’s all over the news: Florence is coming. And my kids have had lots of questions about what exactly that means. Kids don’t have to travel south to get a taste of what a hurricane feels like. The Liberty Science Center has a simulator; stand inside a booth and experience what it’s like to be in near hurricane-force winds. This is just one part of the interactive Hurricane Exhibit that opens on Saturday, September 15. Kids can find out how hurricanes form in a fun (and thank god for us) safe environment.
