Grilled Cheese All Grown-Up

Who doesn’t love grilled cheese?  Seems to be the trend in various cooking publications as well.  Below I’ve listed 3 suggestions but check out these sites to give you even more inspiration… grilled cheese...

Giddy-Up Burgers

A little twist on your average beef burger.  Grilled onion intensifies it’s flavor.  No cheese necessary.   Serve with coleslaw, chips and garlic pickles.

Swedish Meatballs

I think I found THE Swedish Meatball. This recipe makes enough for around 6 to 8 servings, but double-up to serve a crowd. Perfect throw-back cocktail food.

Buckwheat Pancakes(Gluten Free)

Since my son was diagnosed with celiac disease, I have been experimenting with gluten free recipes. We made these buckwheat pancakes this morning and they were great. Even my kids who are not gluten free enjoyed them.

Curried Chicken Salad

A chicken salad full of texture and seasoning.  Indian curry is the main ingredient.  Not too spicy but distinct in flavor.

Broccoli & Cauliflower w/Lemony, Chive, Mustard Butter

This recipe may just get your kids to actually down their broccoli and cauliflower (husbands too!).  Maybe… just maybe… they’ll ask for seconds!!

Chicken & Corn Chowder

What do you get when you combine chunky, tender pieces of roasted chicken, bacon, corn, potatoes, butternut squash, peppers, onions and seasonings? …A bowl-full of luscious and savory soul-warming yum!

Bacon Double Cheeseburger Soup

If you’re a fan of cheeseburgers and enjoy a good hearty soup, then this is the dish for you.   Loaded with components that make up the ultimate cheeseburger but in a chunky delicious soup (thanks to closetcookingcom).
