By offering free memberships to 7th graders, the YMCA is showing their commitment to encouraging all youth to make good decisions and form healthy habits that – in turn – will lead to a healthy lifestyle. The 7th Grade Membership program provides opportunities for fitness and sports, as well as an opportunity to socialize with peers in a safe, supervised, and conveniently located environment.

YmcaEach 7th Grader receives a gym equipment demo with their enrollment. Demonstrations are approximately one hour long and must be scheduled in advance. Demos focus on safety and proper technique. Once all required demos are completed, 7th Graders will have a full access membership to the Y.

In addition, each month 7th Graders will have special events and activities exclusive to the program.
