Located in Summit NJ, Boll & Branch launched their start-up business from a second floor office in downtown Chatham in 2014. The on-line bedding company was founded by husband and wife team Scott and Missy Tannen, who reside in Chatham Township.

Missy became increasingly frustrated when shopping for bedding during a home renovation, so Scott decided to come up with a simple on line solution to shop affordable organic bedding that was also fair trade certified. Missy, a former schoolteacher, uses her artistic skills in the designs for Boll & Branch. In addition to bedding, Boll and Branch now has high quality blankets, towels, and a children’s line.
