Something big is happening on December 24, 2015

Full moonSomething big is happening on December 24th and I don’t just mean Santa’s visit. This year, Santa may not even need Rudolph to guide his sleigh because on Christmas Eve, there will be a full moon–the first one in 38 years!

There were only 3 full moons on Christmas in all of the 20th century, only one of which I was alive to witness, though was too young to know: 1901, 1920 and 1977. And the next one won’t occur for another 18 years in 2034. I’m sure it will make for a beautiful Christmas Eve.

She now works from home as a freelance graphic designer and a chauffeur to her 3 busy kids. "Working on TipsFromTown has been a wonderful outlet for me. It renewed my love of publishing where I can design colorful, enticing pages online and allows me to share the things I love about being a mom." Heather grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio, a place that still is near and dear to her. " After living in Brooklyn for 18 years and studying Graphic Design at Pratt Institute, she now lives in the Jersey burbs. "I love living so close to NYC, but in my heart, I'm an Ohio girl."
