Oak Knoll Upper School Open House

Is an all-girls upper school right for your child? Here’s your chance to explore the idea and learn more about an all-girls school experience. Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child is having their Upper School Open House on Saturday, October 19, 2019 and Saturday, November 16 at their beautiful 11-acre campus in Summit, New Jersey. Register here

During the open house, parents and students will have the chance to experience Oak Knoll firsthand and learn everything there is to know about the all-girls middle and high school (Upper School) admissions process. Current students will lead campus tours, share their stories and give you a glimpse into daily life here at school. Faculty members and administrators will be available to answer your questions and offer their advice.

About Oak Knoll:
Founded in 1924, the Lower School at Oak Knoll School of the Holy Child is a Catholic independent institution, coeducational from pre-K to grade 6.

Oak Knoll offers a comprehensive college preparatory program, meeting the demands for admission to the most selective colleges and universities. As a single-sex school for young women, the program is sensitive not only to issues of gender in the curriculum and the classroom, but also to issues of leadership both in school and in the wider world.

  • Offerings in the humanities focus particular attention on the need to think, speak, and write clearly.
  • Stress on logical analysis in mathematics and science complements these skills.
  • The creative arts provide a finely drawn balance between knowledge and performance.
  • Life skills are the focus in physical education and health courses.
  • The global learning program allows students to learn about the world around them.
  • The senior capstone project allows students to independently explore an area of interest
