Grotto Art

Karen Robertson has revived the 18th Century art of mosaic shelled grotto work. Believed to be a symbol of culture and wealth, each ornate design is comprised of a pattern of swirling shells and feature one of Karen’s signature crests. Large, intricate works, she has taken traditional artwork styles and recreated them with marine life to bring a uniqueness to wall art. These statement pieces demand a closer look and some extra time to study the care and creativity that have gone into the creation of these fine works of art.
