If you are looking for a way to ring in the New Year with the entire family, First Night Morris County has an extraordinary evening planned for you.

This annual New Year’s event has taken place for the last 23 years in Morristown, NJ.  It is an alcohol-free celebration of the arts separated throughout 20 venues within Morristown. This year features close to 200 artists.

Throughout the night everything from dance, theater, music, world cultures, visual arts and children’s programs will be among the evening’s 80+ events and performances.

A wide range of musical entertainment that will include Beatles, Frank Sinatra, and Broadway musical tributes, hot jazz, classic bluegrass, orchestras and more – as well as Cajun zydeco, drum circle, and Australian aboriginal didgeridoo.

Ideal for children of all ages, the earliest performances begin at 4:45PM, with a fireworks display at 9:15PM on the Morristown Green.  With the exception of First Night’s fireworks, all events and performances are held indoors, and complimentary shuttles will be provided for transfers between venues.

Children will enjoy activities such as face painting, artistry, snapology lego fun, reptiles, a magician, illusionist, musical shows, and many more.

General Admission tickets are available for online purchase through December 30.  Tickets will also be available for purchase on December 31 at various Morristown locations.

Looking for something special at midnight?  There will be an additional grand fireworks display on the Green at 12AM.
