Deer Dung

One of my favorite holiday cookies to make is Deer Dung. My daughter loves making them. It also gives your hands a great moisturizing treatment. We can all thank my good friend Avery for this recipe! P.S. Only five ingredients.

Size: Makes approximately 60 depends on the size you roll

Ingredients:
3 1/2-4 cups confectioners sugar
1/2-1cup butter
5 1/2-7 cups rice krispies (you can use gluten free to make this a gluten free cookie)
2 cups smooth peanut butter
4 cups semi sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
A very organic, unrefined process to make.  Just go with it:
Combine sugar and rice crispies.  Toss well.  Add peanut butter and melted butter.
Mix thoroughly, hands will have a fabulous treatment, until dough resembles a sugar cookie dough.
Start rolling, scrunching and crunching into a ball.  Place on a large cookie sheet.
Most likely, you will need to re-mold each one as you coat balls with melted chips.
Best done with 2 teaspoons tossing/dipping in the chocolate.
Put balls in freezer/refrigerator to set chocolate.
Once set, transfer to plastic bags and store in freezer until ready to serve.
Should make at least 60 but can make more dependant on size of balls.
