10 Things I’ll Miss…When School is Out for the Summer.

School ends this week–in 24 hours, to be exact. My freedom days are over.

10 Things I’ll Miss the Most:
1. Going to the bathroom alone.
2. 6 glorious hours a day of silence
3. Leisurely, middle-of-the-day hair appointments.
4. Things staying where you put them and your house looking nice for a few hours.
5. Uninterrupted phone calls.
6. My Monday morning naps.
7. Watching trash TV while you eat lunch.
8. Grocery shopping alone…doing anything alone, I guess!
9. The occassional lushy lunches with friends.
10. Actually getting something done!!!

But on the bright side, you get 10 weeks without:
• packing lunches.
• arguing about outfits in the morning.
• nagging about homework.
• fighting for a parking spot at pick up.
• being asked to bake for a bake sale.
• and dragging them out of their beds in the morning  kicking and screaming while swearing under your breath.

It renewed my love of publishing where I can design colorful, enticing pages online and allows me to share the things I love about being a mom." Heather grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio, a place that still is near and dear to her. " After living in Brooklyn for 18 years and studying Graphic Design at Pratt Institute, she now lives in the Jersey burbs. "I love living so close to NYC, but in my heart, I'm an Ohio girl."
