- LOSE YOURSELF IN A STORY – There’s nothing like a good book to get your mind of off snow that doesn’t seem to melt. ever. One of our recent favorites, The Goldfinch.

- BE PREPARED – Chances are, after the snow melts, rain will follow. Get ready with a cheery new brolly. This dog print umbrella is less than 30 bucks right now at One Kings Lane.

Waiting for Henry at The Mercury Lounge

- MARK YOUR CALENDAR –  Local dad and indie rocker, Dave Slomin, and his band Waiting For Henry will perform at NYC’s Mercury Lounge on March 15. Check them out and have a listen here.

- COLOR YOUR WORLD – It will still be a while before we see spring colors in our garden, but that doesn’t mean you can’t wear some. This cozy, comfy cashmere sweatshirt is 25% off right now at J. Crew.
