The Holidays Are Kicking Off in Summit

Head into downtown Summit on Friday, December 1 from 5 to 9PM to kick off the holiday season at the Celebrate in Summit event. Many stores will be open late and the winners of the Shop Summit Passport program will be drawn. The event will also feature music, hot chocolate and prizes at 370 Springfield Ave, as well as horse and carriage rides from 5 to 8PM at Lyric Park (corner of Beechwood Rd and Bank St). All activities are free to the public.

Free babysitting is available at the Summit YMCA from 5 to 9PM. Pizza and activities are included. Pre-registration is required; visit the Summit Downtown, Inc. website to register for babysitting and learn more about the event.
