Easy Trick to De-Ice Your Car in Seconds

For about 8 years, having a detached garage didn’t bother me at all. Now, I want to turn my family room into a home for my car, just so I don’t have to clean off the snow and ice. These last couple winters have been rough. I barely have time to put on a coat in the morning, forget about spending 10 minutes heating up the car and scraping off the ice. This is such an obvious quick fix, but you many not have thought of it. Give it a try. Works like a charm.

DISCLAIMER: I posted this on Facebook and had a woman who said her friend’s windshield cracked when she did this. I don’t know how old the car was or how long ago she tried it. I’ve been doing it for a couple years without problem, but I wouldn’t do it on and older car, any window with an existing chip or crack and I would only use hot to the touch water — not scalding. The ice should just separate from the window and slide off.
