Why My Kid Doesn’t Have an Elf

So, you buy the book and put the elf on the shelf and the stress doesn’t end until Dec 25. I mean, the elf is always looking to you for help, right?

I was complaining about elf stress to a friend this week who smiled and revealed that her child did not have an elf–you know who you are! I asked how she got away with it. I mean, every kid I know has at least one elf if not a few! She said that when her son asked why they didn’t have an elf, she told him, “The elf only visits bad children. And you’re so good!” Damnit, why didn’t I think of that 6 years ago! Genius.

Can;t break the cycle now. So if you do have an elf and he/she or god forbid they are struggling to be creative, here are some ideas that you can pass on:
