There’s a Something New and Fresh in Town

leonLeonsI recently had dinner at Leon’s, the new Mexican restaurant in town. It’s just what Ridgewood needed! The food is truly fresh and delicious–so fresh that nothing is pre-cooked or frozen. And, they even have a wine menu (you know me, I love when I don’t have to BYOB). The menu has classics like tacos and fajitas but also has some contemporary dishes like the pan-seared Mahi Mahi and the Charred Cauliflower with pureed pepper sauce. The Beef Flautas were hot and crispy and the Shrimp Ajilio which was crunchy and flavorful. We all loved the Steak Fajita and the Fiesta Salad. But our favorite part, by far, was the table-side guacamole. Could there be anything more mouth-watering and fresh?
