Drip Coffee in Chatham

Finally made it to Drip Coffee in Chatham today and was happy that I did!  They’ve  been open for a few months in the retail space on Main Street formerly occupied by Cafe Beethoven. Although the interior layout has not changed, the decor and tables/chairs have been updated to a much more modern look and feel, with a young staff that are courteous and attentive.

Was going to order my usual mocha latte, but the blackboard “September Specials” caught my eye: Green Tea Latte, Strawberry White Mocha, Pumpkin Spice Latte, Maple Spice Cocoa, and The Nutty Englishman. Since I am the Bubba Gump of pumpkin, that was a no brainer. In addition, I asked about the avocado toast and thought I’d give that a try. FYI, it was not on the printed menu displayed on the counter, so I am glad that I asked. Avocado toast seems to be the newest craze for breakfast these days, but this was the first time I had it. Double thumbs up on both! Will definitely return, and try another menu item, and another “special” coffee.
