Have a Vision? Have a Dream?

Woman filmingDo you think you have a unique vision or story to sell? Feeling inspired by the upcoming Oscars? The Count Basie Theatre’s is back for its second year of searching for New Jersey’s best and brightest student filmmakers for their Statewide Student Film Festival. Last year, 20 of the best filmmakers in the state competed in the first-ever Project FX fest. Industry judges and panelists put their heads together to choose which ones had true Hollywood talent. This year’s top 20 films will be screened at the Basie on April 17, 2016. Top prize? An Internship at Sony Pictures Classics in New York! Second prize is a Sony digital movie camera and Third prize is $500.
