Dining Al Fresco (& Gluten-Free) in Westfield

The Funghi–my favorite–can be made gluten-free!

Now that spring has FINALLY come, there’s no better way to enjoy the outdoors than dining al fresco. One of my favorite spots in town is for a casual girls’ night out is Ferraro’s. One of my good friends happens to eat gluten-free and Ferraro’s has a good selection of apps and entrees which they can make gluten-free. For starters, there’s gluten-free Calamari, Zucchini Fritti and Eggplant Rollatini. They have several entrees that can be made-to-order gluten-free like their Chicken or Eggplant Parmagiana, plus a long list of fish entrees like the Chilean Sea Bass or Grilled Salmon. But I love their pizzas most of all: the Fungi is my absolute favorite. It’s a mushroom-lover’s dream with portobello and crimini mushrooms, gorgonzola cheese and white truffle oil.  Even my favorite pizza, the Funghi, can be made gluten-free along with many other pizzas.

Ferrraro’s is open Sunday through Thursday 11am – 9pm. and Fridays and Saturdays 11am – 10:30pm.
