Playhouse Scare

In the spirit of Halloween, Playhouse Square will host the third annual Playhouse SCARE on Friday, October 27 from 8:00 pm -11:00 pm.  Begin in front of Cibréo Italian Kitchen and register to win a “WICKED WEEKEND”, including 2 tickets to WICKED the Musical, a night’s stay at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and a $100 gift certificate to the Playhouse Square District restaurant of your choice, as well as gift certificates from district merchants.

Then enjoy a “Creepy Crawl” through the Playhouse Square District with food, drink and special offers at participating restaurants, bars and retailers. Happy Hours start at 8:00 pm.

Check out the free séances by medium Marianne Goldweber (at 7:30, 9:00 and 10:30 pm) at Cibréo Privato, located on East 14th Street (see additional séance details here) and a FREE screening of the original 1968 film version of “Night of the Living Dead” at 11:00 pm at  Hofbräuhaus Cleveland (details here).

Séance Details
Séances take place at Cibreo Privato Private Party Room located on East 14th Street between Euclid Ave. and Prospect. Séances begin at 7:30, 9:00 and 10:30 pm. Doors open at 6:45 pm. for the first séance.

Night of the Living Dead Screening
Watch the original 1968 film version of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD in Hofbrauhaus Cleveland’s private “Fest” Party Room. The screening begins at 11:00 pm and is FREE to the public but TICKETS ARE REQUIRED as seating is limited.  Tickets can be picked up beginning at 9:30 pm the night of the event at the Hofbrauhaus hostess desk located in the restaurant lobby.
