The Negroni

The Negroni, an Italian classic dating back to the early 1900’s, has made a comeback. Mixing equal part ingredients, the Negroni delivers a perfect blend of both sweet and bitter flavors.  Intensely red in color, it seems only fitting to serve your Valentine this “holiday.”

Ingredients:
1 oz Campari
1 oz sweet vermouth
1 oz dry gin
Ice
Orange twist (garnish)

Fill shaker with ice, Campari, sweet vermouth and gin.  Stir until thoroughly mixed.  Strain in a rocks glass over fresh ice or serve up in a cocktail glass.  Garnish with orange twist.
