Gratitude Wreath

Whether or not you are hosting Thanksgiving this year, here is a creative idea which everyone will love and you can take with you. We are always looking for ways to say what we are thankful for. I came across this idea and I am definitely doing it at my Thanksgiving. First, you need to buy a plain wreath at Target or a craft store. If you don’t like the color you can wrap it in ribbon that suits you. Next, buy a box of push pins which are plain and straight. A few days before Thanksgiving have your children cut leaves out of colored paper. Place them in a cup or container. When your guests arrive have them each take a leaf or two and write something they are grateful for and attach it to the wreath. Depending on the amount of guests, you can have people do more or less leaves. You can then read what everyone is grateful for and hang it on your front door or inside your home. Everyone can admire it and you can bring it out the following year and add to it or start fresh.
