Don’t Miss: Ridgewood’s Super Science Saturday

Check Out 20 of Our Favorite Science Projects

The Biggest Science Extravaganza in Northern New Jersey!

Saturday, February 29  •  9:00am – 1:30pm

If you’ve never been to Super Science Saturday, you are missing out! You get to see exciting projects created by students from all of the Ridgewood schools and professional presenters. My kids and I went last year expecting to spend about an hour, and after two hours, we realized we’d only seen like 50% of the projects. There are tons of interactive projects that your kids can get their hands on and show them how much fun science can be! And it’s free!

Here are some of the scheduled events:
9:30am: Enjoy an Interactive Show by Liberty Science Center
10:30am: Watch Indoor Drone Racing
12:00pm: Watch the yearly Egg Drop competition
12:30pm: Join the Great Paper Airplane Contestlearn to make your own here.
1:30pm: See the Rocket Launch

Check out the Kids’ Zone where you can find games and brainteasers– all hands-on.

A big thank you to Valley Health Systems and the Ridgewood Education Foundation for making this amazing day possible!

She now works from home as a freelance graphic designer and a chauffeur to her 3 busy kids. "Working on TipsFromTown has been a wonderful outlet for me. It renewed my love of publishing where I can design colorful, enticing pages online and allows me to share the things I love about being a mom." Heather grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio, a place that still is near and dear to her. " After living in Brooklyn for 18 years and studying Graphic Design at Pratt Institute, she now lives in the Jersey burbs. "I love living so close to NYC, but in my heart, I'm an Ohio girl."
