Food Truck Heaven!

The food truck obsession is in full gear in Asbury Park. For me and my family, we love that we all get to eat what we want! If you haven’t been yet, you need to get your food-truck loving butt down to the park. The variety of trucks is overwhelming–everything from healthy avocado smash sandwiches at The Sand Box to liquid nitrogen ice-cream at Freezy Freeze (one of my latest obsessions) or a burger and chili fries. The picnic area is filled with tables and twinkly string lights. You can find the area off the boardwalk on 7th Avenue on the North side of Convention Hall. Check out what will be there this weekend on Facebook.

North Eats is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays – until July when it goes to seven days a week 12-10pm Saturdays and 12-9pm very other day of the week! Find out more about Asbury Park.

Former Art Director for Home Magazine, Heather Leahy Zachariah, left her career in publishing after baby number number one. She now works from home as a freelance graphic designer and a chauffeur to her 3 busy kids. "Working on TipsFromTown has been a wonderful outlet for me. It renewed my love of publishing where I can design colorful, enticing pages online and allows me to share the things I love about being a mom." Heather grew up in Shaker Heights, Ohio, a place that still is near and dear to her. " After living in Brooklyn for 18 years and studying Graphic Design at Pratt Institute, she now lives in the Jersey burbs. "I love living so close to NYC, but in my heart, I'm an Ohio girl."
