The Next Police Chief

ShakerHtsPoliceThe City of Cleveland Heights announced today the appointment of Captain Annette Mecklenberg as the next Police Chief. She will be sworn in in February 2016 after the retirement of the current Chief, Jeffrey Robertson. Captain Mecklenberg has been a member of our Police Department since 1990 when she became a basic patrol officer and advanced through the ranks becoming a Captain in 2015. Mecklenberg is a graduate of Bowling Green University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. She received her juris doctorate from Cleveland Marshall Law school in 2001.
