Westfield’s Halloween Downtown with Trick or Treat & Costume Contest

Here’s a safe fun way to get in some treats: Trick-or-treating in the downtown shops and restaurants. Come into town after school on Monday, Oct 30 from 4 pm to 5 pm. for treats (no tricks). The Costume Contest will take place from 5 pm to 6 pm on Quimby Street.

Westfield’s Annual Halloween Parade (originally scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 30) will not take place however.  There will also be fun activities for children with appearances by the Westfield Fire Department and the Westfield Rescue Squad.  Ray Catena will also be participating and handing out candy to the trick-or-treaters. Michael Doyle will emcee the event.

The annual Costume Contest will award metals and 32 prizes for the best costumes by downtown business sponsors in the following categories:  Ahrre’s Coffee Roastery (Most Edgy), Athleta, (Most Empowering Girl), Bridget’s Irish Cottage (Best Irish Jack o’Lantern), Brummers Chocolates (Sweetest), Castle Bootery Inc.
