Westfield Puts an End to Scotch Plains-Fanwood’s Streak

westfeild blue devils soccerThe Scotch Plains-Fanwood High varsity soccer streak is over! Westfield Blue Devils defeated them Friday, October 28 with a close score of 2-1 in the Union County Tournament (UCT) finals. Owen Prybylski and Pierre Titti made goals that led to the win. Cullen Birkel, Blue Devils’ goalie, made 7 saves. The Blue Devils next game is Monday, October 31 at the State Tournament. The last time Blue Devils won the UCT boys soccer championship in 2010.
