Teaching the Value of Money

All parents want to teach their children the value of money. Oftentimes, it’s done by linking allowance with household chores. But is that the right route to go? Recently, the WSJ interviewed experts on either side of this issue for a “Should Allowance be Tied to Chores?” article. It offers lots of good ways to handle the allowance/chore equation and maybe put an end to the “can’t we just go to the ATM for more money?” question as well.
