Tea on the Terrace

Sunday June 272021 • 11:30am  and 2:00pm seatings

Experience the beauty of spring at Reeves-Reed Arboretum, while enjoying a finely curated afternoon tea on Sunday, June 27 at 11:30am or 2:00pm. The Arboretum is partnering with ‘The Secret Tea Room’ for a lovely afternoon tea on the sun porch and terrace overlooking our gardens. Taking inspiration from world-renowned tea rooms like the Ritz in London, The Secret Tea Room aims to provide a comparable experience…right here in Summit! Expect creative chef plates, classic afternoon tea sandwiches, French pastries and desserts, and last, but not least, oven fresh scones with strawberry jam and homemade clotted cream.

On arrival, you’ll be given a menu with teas from In Pursuit of Tea, fine purveyors of tea. Your table’s teapot will be brewed and served. A glass of sparkling wine and a departure treat are complimentary. A retail offering of fine tea and specialty coffee bags will be available for purchase.

‘The Secret Tea Room’ offers only 18 tickets per seating, and strictly adheres to Covid guidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of our guests. Windows in the sunporch will be opened and weather permitting, tables will be available outdoors. Tickets are $85 and registration is required.

With advance notice, ‘The Secret Tea Room’ caters to vegans, vegetarians, pescatarians and carnivores alike. Please notify us of any dietary requirements or allergies at the time of booking.
