4 Places to Look and See if You are Getting Enough Water

prevention, water, hydration, dehydration, how many glasses a day, climate, environment, temperature, body composition, tips from townAre you getting enough H2O every day? It’s hard to keep track of the recommended 8 glasses a day, but there are places you can look and see if your hydration is adequate..

  1. Your toilet. Dark urine and constipation are signs you should be drinking more.
  2. The mirror. Dry, saggy skin can be improved simply by increasing your water intake. You will also notice a difference in fine lines and the texture of your hair and nails.
  3. Your to-do list. If fatigue is preventing you from getting everything done, try better hydration for both short-term and long-term energy boosts.
  4. The scale. The feeling of thirst is often confused with the feeling of hunger, and chronic dehydration can lead to weight gain. Before you pick up a snack, drink a glass of water.

Insufficient water intake can also lead to irritability, headaches and muscle cramps. It seems like such a simple thing to do … just drink a tasteless beverage several times a day. But, in our busy lives, we often overlook the easiest steps toward improved wellness.
