Cider Tea

Chillax with tea steeped in hot apple cider.  Earl Grey or Darjeeling tea work nicely with the sweet tartness of the cider.  Perfect winter’s day toddy.

Zucchini & Squash “Carpaccio”

Zucchini and squash so thinly sliced we’re calling it carpaccio.  A vegetarian’s dream dish.

Jiffy Japanese Tortellini Soup

Very quick soup for all of you on-the-go families.  Just a few ingreds. to throw into the pot, and presto!

Simple Spring Salad

Yes… you can eat these little lovely flowers.  Makes for a pretty spring salad.  Maybe now all of the little princesses and princes will eat their lettuce!

Smokey Tomato-Basil Soup

Creamy, smokey and fresh.  Serve this scrumptious soup with toasted baguette slices.  One super supper.

Broccoli & Cauliflower w/Lemony, Chive, Mustard Butter

This recipe may just get your kids to actually down their broccoli and cauliflower (husbands too!).  Maybe, just maybe, they’ll ask for seconds!!

Kale Slaw

Kale is the “it” green these days.  Rightly so, by-the-way.  It is very high in beta-carotene, vitamin K and vitamin C.   This slaw is crazy good and super rich in nutrients.  Even the next day, this slaw packs a crunch!

Croutons

These croutons are really easy to make.  I use them in soups and salads.

Split Pea Soup with Smoked Ham

The ham hocks enrich this soups flavor tenfold.  As it simmers you’ll have enough time to sit back and watch a flick… well-deserved!
