The Best Corned Beef Sandwich in Town

corned beefYesterday, I posted “Gooey Delish Corned Beef Sandwiches” on our Facebook site. Ok, so it’s not healthy and we usually like to stress wellness, but every once in awhile you have to live on the edge and indulge in something really good. All afternoon, I couldn’t get corned beef out of my mind but felt too to make the one I’d posted myself. I googled “best corned beef sandwich Ridgewood” and Parkwood Deli came up. I sent a messenger (my husband) over to Parkwood for an East Glen Avenue Special and he came home with the delicacy pictured above. Now, that’s a sandwich. Soft rye bread, 4 inches of corned beef and pastrami with warm melted Swiss cheese and tangy sauerkraut. It was out of this world! I could eat another right now.

Parkwood Deli, 342 Erie Ave. (201) 689-0855.
