Potholes Driving You Crazy? There’s an App for That

potholesAs Ridgewood thaws out from a long winter of snowy, icy roads it appears that Mother Nature has left a little something in her wake. If you’ve driven around the side streets and even some main roads of our Village you probably know what I mean. Potholes are everywhere! Some are so deep and gaping it seems inevitable that they will cause damage to our cars. But thanks to Ridgewood’s street operation supervisor, John Spano, now there’s an app for that.  The “Ridgewood Service Request” or RSR mobile application was launched on Monday for the sole purpose of reporting potholes within the Village.

To use the app, you must register, and then provide a detailed description and location of the pothole. In addition, photos can be uploaded to assist in reportage. Visit here for more information.
