A Fun Eco-Friendly Straw Options: Pasta Straws

Pasta Straws

We’re all trying to cut back on our plastic straws (and plastic bags) to save the environment, but sometimes, a drink is just better with a straw! The paper straws don’t last long and usually disenegrate before you’ve finished your beverage. And reusable metal straws have hit the market but honestly, I can barely remmeber to pack my reading glasses let alone metal straws for everyone in my family. So many restaurants have come up with a new idea: pasta straws! We’re hoping to start seeing these more around town at our favorite spots.  The straws are eco-friendly, 100% compostable and flavorless. They last about 30-40 minutes–longer than a paper straw. You can even purchase them for home.
