The upscale furniture chain Arhaus opened at The Shops at Riverside in Hackensack. The store is located on two levels, with one entrance next to Bloomingdale’s home store. Arhaus sells very unique, high quality home furnishings made with natural woods, stone tabletops and organic cottons. The store is Arhaus’ second in New Jersey. The company has 41 stores nationwide.

The Stickley furniture company, known for the Arts and Crafts and Mission designs of founder Gustav Stickley, which are sought after by collectors, has bought a former Levitz building on Route 4 for its first New Jersey showroom. The Paramus store will be the 15th Stickley retail store in the country and gives the 112-year-old company a presence in northern New Jersey as its primary distributor in the area prepares to go out of business.  Stickley also carries other high-end, aspirational brands like Hickory Chair, Theodore Alexander, Baker and more.
